Need a way to get home once drive tractor to a job and leave it there, when not staying there. Can tow ute behind tractor, either on dolly trailer (me no likey) or A-frame, or just park a scooter/motorcycle in the FEL bucket so I have a way of getting home and can leave tractor on the job.

get ya licences for bike scooter that fits into bucket very handy for other chores and fun & summers on it way so you wont git cold till mid May 2016

To far for a push bike?? Can get a screamer for that money and more used as well. A $800-$1000 29er/road bike lockout fork's, hyd disk brakes on sale like cars, the 2015 clearance starts soon. Or is it the terrain to tricky

That sort of physical effort at the end of a long day is not high on my agenda.
I was surprised with how well the 29er rolled vs the usual 26 with 35mm slicks comfy and rolls well, that's how my specialized hardrock 29er 2011 was setup 2 week before it got pinched the day the street pot house got completely shut down after about 30y pic dodging the law

Decision time:

  • A-frame to tow ute behind tractor (about $700-$1k)
  • scooter (used, big $ range from take-your-chances to reliable-Japanese, but I ain't spending more than about $1k)
  • get my motorcycle learners license and something that's more fun and handles metal roads better ( Would spend up to about $2k)
  • any other suggestions?

The postie bike with knobbies is the go. The Honda CT110.

Believe it or not, it is the world's most popular bike by a long shot.

Just happened to be riding through the Cardomon Mountains in Cambodia one day and it was tough going...had to drop logs across a couple of washouts to get the XR250 through...having a break on the side of the track with mossies like I'd never seen before and along comes a 70yo Frenchman on a postie bike...doing well...I had to pinch myself.

busted me 017 bar and chain twas blocking off dead wattle limb when it bit and snagged as the wood fell away grabbing out bending the chain bad and rooting the bar roller tip i was 30 feet up in bucket it nearly took the lot off ma hands oh well no biggy but wow wee a weenie 017 bar chain $105 bucks at local Stihl shop crumbs can buy a whole saw for $399

i'll recycle the 14 inch chain to be 12 inch ht 75 spare
I think I have a couple of 017 bars in different lengths I don't need with matching loops of chain let me know and I'll go through the collection. I think I put a genuine stihl chain and bar in the electric chainsaw I gave my mum the bar was worth ten times what the saw was [emoji16]

Well done on some great rugby and a superb realisation of all the talent (that was always there but needed a few ego's booted into touch and someone who could make the most of the talent) over the last year, Wallabies.
