I would go bigger since the 28 lite weighs about the same as a 20.

my decision on which bar i would trade would depend entirely on what was on my 261. if the 261 has a 20" no way would i buy a 20" for the 461. but then dropping to a 25" solid bar is ****** because it'll way as much as your 28" light. i'd just sell your solid bar in the trader here for 20% off. someone will take it. or maybe your dealer would take it in as part trade towards you light bar?

I bought my 28" Light bar with cash. Got it for below DSRP so I wasn't going to try to barter.

just don't overthink it. doesn't really matter what length you have if you don't cut wood. i'd probably take a 20" for piss revving in a garage. but hell, may as well get a 42". it'll run it occasionally.

I tend to over-think a lot of things. That's how I stayed alive playing cops & robbers for years and years.
Lots of people have jobs and careers that don't require much advanced thought at all. All they know, is that they go to work at 8am and get off at 5pm. Their biggest worry is traffic jams to and from work.
Piss-revvin in a garage or not, if you're gonna do it, do it in a big way.
Shorter bar is nice for bucking smaller wood. Helps keep the tip out of the dirt, at least for me.

From all the responses, I'm thinking a 20" set-up would be nice.
But then again, it could just be a conspiracy to get me to buy the wrong size.

Cops, not so much. They can and do everything right, and someone still finds a way to kill them. How many times, other than in a war, have you found yourself starring at someone holding a gun and pointing it in your direction?
BTW......lots of studies don't differentiate between accidents and murders resulting in deaths.
There is a big difference...........

i faller can follow the safest procedures known to man. those tree's will still get them out of no where. sure many times it is there own fault whether it be them slip'n up on procedures or doing stupid ****. actually, almost exactly like a cop lol

Nope, you can twist it all you want. Being murdered is a whole lot different than dying from an accident. Just ask the family of a murdered person.
I'll take being crushed to death by a tree any day, vs. being shot in the face by some life-life MF'er.

that cop gets shot in the face because of **** his co-workers do. alot of people hate cops and their abuse of power. not to badge all cops that way. you think tree's like fallers? lol i'd rather be shot in the face. you need a log to roll over you or even just roll into your leg and break your ankles to know the pain. shot in the face would be a great way to go. i'd rather have that then drowning or being burned alive. without the gun, and government created gang, cops are pussies. i witnessed my buddy rag doll a cop, of course he got beat down something fierce by a few others on the scene lol. he didn't even get much time but the first thing he says to me is i thought you had my back. like WTF man!!! your stirring up **** with cops. no way would i have your back as i would end up where you went.

My brother tends to do that. Sometimes I want to tell him to **** or get off the pot as it drives me nuts. He has lost out on deals several times from hmmming and haaaing too long.
I've gotten DAMN good deals for not screwing around. Like a few weeks ago I saw an F-Super Duty for sale. Called him, met the next afternoon, 10 mins later I offered him in cash almost 2k less than he listed it for. It was sitting at the shop 20 mins later.
