Yeah it seems pretty sweet every thing that's not electric seems to work so I need to do a little wireing work change oils and filters ect and she's ready for work

Just a little strip, clean & build to kick the morning off :)

My morning consisted of cleaning a$100 1994 DCS430 in perfect nick(maybe second chain in its life by the look of it) other than the fact that it doesn't run. Looks like the carby- I HATE CARBURETTORS.

NO SUCH THING AS A BARGAIN secondhand CHAINSAW in my humble opinion.

Insane slightly lunatic rant over, the voices tell me to go back to the shed and I always do what the voices whisper........................

Have been cleaning up at the Mill have taken about 20 ute loads off to scrap. Found all kinds of things we forgot we owned one interesting thing is this old Australian made Trewhella bench gauge..
It's for a breast bench and is a double sided gauge left and right so you can cut timber both sides of the saw very handy for cutting timber..
This one is new never used I doubt you can still buy them? old man got this one about 25 years ago probably should be in a timber museum is part of our timber industry heritage in Australia. Anyone collect this type of thing? few pics I might give it a clean up when I get time.

What size boom is that and does it have the controls in the basket or only on the truck?

Got to be happy when jobs like that come along and the power runs underground.

17 + m high reach telescopic fly boom with controls both ends & packs up to way smaller than think & no power above is a joy

Started this morning, then went 2 work,,,, finishing touches tonight, will fire her up tomorrow.
I'll keep you Stihl lovers entertained soon, I have a couple 460/660 needing some tlc. :) :)

Came up nicely. ! What is it? 395?

I know I've asked before but what size ultra sonic cleaners are you guys using? A crank half would be the biggest thing I would use it for

I have a 6 litre. It can submerge a jug no problem; getting a crank case half would need to be double the size I would say.
I'll check in the morning how a 044 fits in mine.
