How would baler twine work ? It could get burnt up in the fire - No plastic to deal with -
That's what I use, but I'm low volume compered to most. Baling twine couple with a short 5" length of old garden hose for a carrying handle works for me. I usually wrap 8 to 10 logs to the bundle. Folks really like the hose handle and some even return them for recycling. But, you can't wrap more than 12 bundles per hour this way (at least I can't), especially in the heat of summer.
