I use SKF 6119 both sides. About an easy a swap as they get.

Thanks Cory, I appreciate it. Can't get much easier than the 4200/5200 ones.
I'm buying all the parts I can get on eBay that are NLA (oil diaphragms, piston, rings, recoil, crank seals....) just to be able to keep it that much longer.

Just picked up another 4000. I spent a tad bit more than I wanted to on this one ($156). The seller said he had not tried to start it but that it had very good compression and spark. I figured I'd gamble a little. When I got home from work today the box was sitting at my door. I opened it up and was pleasantly surprised by an unabused looking 4000. I gave some light tigs at the starter and the compression felt good. I hit it with some compressed air, pulled the plug and checked spark which was good. I figured what the hey and added some mix and bar oil and started it up. It took some pulls to get the fuel in there but once it started up, it sounded nice. I let it warm up and tested it out on some pretty dry oak I have near the firewood pile. It needs a little tuning but it definitely runs and cuts! I checked the compression after warming it up and it registered a respectable 145 psi.
I'm going to check and make sure the oiler is working properly and probably put s carb kit on it and replace the fuel lines and try to tune it a little. Very happy the gamble was worth it!

you guys won't believe this is just came home with these an 1800,335,336,3700,475pro,4200,and...............A 5200!!! I finally got one, the bores good it just needs going through an new muffler and some av mounts, and I got brand new OEM piston kit and new OEM cylinder for the 335 or 336 not sure which yet................175 bucks!!!!! I can't even function I'm so stoked

A guy I talked to at our fall festival said he had a couple he worked for the dealer that sold poulan from 1966-2000 brought them home over the years, the 5200 just needs a muffler and goin through. I've been after one for 5 years now. The 475 is like new under all the grime I can't belive I found them. super stand up guy I didn't have enough money he said take em and pay me later. hand shake deal =the deals I like
now the fun begins, looks like some great projects and sounds like you have a few parts to start with already.

No the 4200 is missing the jug entirely, but the piston is good idk why they pulled it. I'm gonna have to steal the av mounts off the 4200 bc the ones on the 5200 are mushy. A muffler, crank seals and fuel system repair are all I think it needs. But I'm looking at the 4200 thinking man if I had a jug I'd try putting it together. Lol I'm freaking out just having the 5200 and another 475 pro sitting in my garage!
Man, ya sound like a kid in a candy store with a 90% off sale, can't blame ya, I'd be the same way.
