Bet the guys felling that " sapling" had arm muscles that made "Popeye "look like a wimp our "processer driver would "scrunch" his buttock cheeks together if he thought he had to take that down

Actually, most of those guys had a "wiry" build. Falling and bucking in those days wasn't as much a power event as it was a job of endurance. They usually got paid by the piece so they worked long days and took many breaks. Falling and bucking teams were separate and the buckers were usually several days behind the fallers.
