You making room for some nice big powerful saws, if so what are you looking for. There is always time to clean the garage so that you don't get bored. New saws new interest, that's how I look at it. If that 3700 is out I'll take it

What 3700?

If your asking me. No I dont collect saws. I buy, fix and sell to folks wanting certain saws. I like finding and getting into right hands as a hobby.

Saws are easily replaced I have found out over the years.

View attachment 655847 View attachment 655848 a PP236 is like a Unicorn .....the one on top is a saw i bought from mark ... dam good deal..... the other 2 was the only pic i could find of a 236 pp you find one of those jump all over it....some one posted a pic of all 3 to a fb page a week back but he never did pm me to buy it.... he had a 2400 also....

I sold a pp236 to Aaron long ago. Had a thread on it. Had no use for it here so gave him a good deal. Never considered it very hard to find myself. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/poulan/poulan-pro-236/msg20178/#msg20178

LOL.....i should try to get it back and give him a micro long as it cuts he wont care.....

are you selling it?
This didn’t come from the trading post and no I'm not going to sell it, it's my keeper. I like the 2400 cuz it's a small version of the 3400 . Looking forward to taking it on the atv, I need to build a box to hold it on the front rack and keep it clean and organized

So want to thank fl joe there was new in the box old 1800 bout a month ago i could not get to it then the ad was gone.... Well they relisted 2 days ago he sent me the link.... I was not going to miss out on the saw this time.....Thank you....pics in a minute... few Questions on the saw it says 40/1 oil ratio has carb limiters and a sticker that says 1996 emissions compliant...or something...i will post the pics... of course original fuel lines are disintegrated...no smell of fuel or oil bone dry... so my question is how old is it? do you think the sels are still good? should i run new lines and fire it up? I dont need it but it almost seems a sin to not run it....this is the only one i have got this new i have one 2300 that was run once then put away ...I still have not touched it.... I was thinking of doing the lines and running them....but would hate to ruin mint saws.... as it is seals are nla so i will be searching for 2 sets to be on the safe side.... with out further rambling here are pics.....oh i got it for 100 dollar bill!!!34323501_10213154831208867_7431744176133242880_n.jpg 34345388_10213154832128890_4948051785282486272_n.jpg 34348109_10213154830888859_14504933487280128_n.jpg 34385699_10213154831848883_3388211257847840768_n.jpg 34386271_10213154825848733_1938039726724349952_n.jpg 34394856_10213154826368746_1630061975708893184_n.jpg

Wow, what a nice score ,they are beautiful and not sure if I would run or even take a screw out to fix the problems. Thanks for the pictures

Im a lil like that but with parts getting harder to find its like why not run it.... I think i will at least run new lines.....i should probably squirt some 2 cylcle in the plug holes also while i decide what to do.....I have many others to run i just am seeing a point where these old saws will become here no one wants them..... im not sure what to do....its interesting sticker says 38cc but the box says its 33 cc.....wonder if poulan slapped the 38cc motors in them like they did with those rear handle saws....

No way I would run that saw, i almost thought it was a remanufactured saw being 38cc very cool

so you would leave it sit on a shelf till you passed or would you just flip it?It has different sticker on it the box texas ....the saw shreveport usa there is a bar code from some one the man bought it from with a number i call them his wife said he bought it and passed away it had been in the box like that and i believe her....and i see a bar code that says canada but is covered by tape when i try to remove the tape it starts to peel it the booklet the number 530-083691-04/27/95.... the side sticker makes me think its at least 1996? so why would you not run it?just for resale value?

I suppose S.Cannon the person who tested it is the only one that would know....LOL
