You may or may not know that about a year and half ago some of us started building the kits and we all struggled with it. they are close to a Stihl on a good day and not close on others. I recorded some build videos so we could have a little more fun doing, less stress.

These birds sent me an email and said "we want to use your videos on our website". I actually threw up in my mouth. Are they crazy. I recorded those videos to help people that were interested in participating and not to help them. Although in theory if people listened it would reduce the, I image large requests for warranty when people do it their way. They don't check the quality of their product so no video is going to help Huztl. I present builders now with a list of must have OEM parts to keep them running.

I would image also that the page dedicated to "dealing with the Chinese" on my website might bear on it. They probably don't want their customers seeing that, so keeping them away is likely at the top of their mind.

Anyway, my ask is if you see them wind up with "any" videos, please let me know, if they are not mine I will warn the maker. I wrote them back and said "NO". They are used to copying things, I can only hope they respect my wishes. I know it is illegal in China to use a VPN...hint...hint

You seem to be all about informing others on how to build these piece of crap kits. Why not inform them to just save their money and buy direct from the oem manufacturer rather than constantly spewing huztl aka farmertec on the forums....honestly I thought you were sponsered by huztl or farmertec after reading your posts. Any man with common sense knows to shy away from their illegally licensed crap, yet it seems you just keep going back for more chinesium. And here you are, suprised they are wanting to use your videos for their site. Oh the irony.

I appreciate your opinion so much. A lot of people have learned a lot about chainsaws. But your are right about one thing, if they do I should have known better. But on the rest you are full of crap.

Funny I thought the exact same thing. But what do I know.

I have a gun maintanence channel on YouTube and I very much believe that credit is due to the owner when their material is used. However I don’t understand why you don’t take advantage of this in which you could at the very least use your name to spread out your reputation on the internet. This brings in more people to your channel and you still get hits when YouTube vids are imbedded in any page other than YouTube.
I have had many law enforcement agencies and even part suppliers asking me to advertise their name for free stuff.

If you hate Chinese stuff so much why are you showing people how to build their stuff lol?

I am not trying to attack you but you are making it hard. How can you be so small minded to not see the benefit to the kits. Are you going to go in and buy a new Stihl and take it apart so you can assemble it? Not anyone with a brain. With the kits you start with clean parts, you screw up you buy more low cost parts, you learn to assemble it. I don't need to defend what I do. I just find it amazing people are so dim. I will tell you most Stihl techs don't have the experience with cases that a kit builder does.

The guys that had the experience when asked questions would give me dumbass answers like that's a whole another can of worms, I said hell with this. I am a computer specialist I knew I could handle this. I wanted other people to not have to get an answer like that so I did the videos. I can take up for myself I can't be everywhere and so I asked if anyone saw anywhere but youtube to let me know. I can handle it, I just need to see it. They may honor my request. Where did you see I hate Chinese stuff? People have very short attention spans now and thier reading comprehension slides as a result.

Lol. You're pretty hostile tword Bedford T. I'm not sure if you realize that not everyone can afford a brand new saw so the cheap kits are out there for the people who can't afford to buy a new OEM Stihl or Husqvarna chainsaws I've had lots of oem and still have them but as time goes by its fun building the cheap Chinese 660s yes there far from perfect in some places and if you realize that you can replace the stuff that is junk oem stuff and still wind up with a saw that's pretty good Granted I'll always have my oem saw's but for what it would cost to replace them I'll thrash the crap out of the cheap saw before I ware out my oem saw's because that's what the pore people like me do. You don't have to like them I'm not shoving them down anyone's throat and there's a lot of people building them just for a cheap hobby. Just saying and besides a lot of the parts that you go to get from your dealer just because it says Stihl or Husqvarna on it doesn't mean that they made the part. Let that sink in a little.

Well people such as Mathew Olson on YouTube and afleetcommand have been taking apart actual huskys for years showing us how to assemble them, so literally yes they bought or acquired an actual brand named saw, figured it out, and taught us.

In the end they actually shows us hutzle kit assembles, am I missing something here?

Dude the thread is not about this. I suggest the comparison to a broke husky is missing something and because of that, this conversation means nothing and it can go in any direction now. I will leave it to your types. Years lol. Like child actors along the border instead of crying babies. Doing that dude and bless your little heart.

These bull **** kits piss me off to no end. Then to make matters worse, I see jerks trying to sell these moron toys as legit Stihl equipment. Every post I see where someone calls one an "MS" anything, I correct them quickly.

I went to check a saw out locally, they had popped that ****ertech cheasy model badge off to throw people off. Then went as far as using a Stihl bar, chain brake handle and Elasto start handle. The rest was pure crap.

People use the excuse "I use these kits to practice building saws". If you want practice building a saw, check the junk yard. Plenty of old Stihls get thrown out. Then at least you wouldn't be a poser. Hell I have a seized Ms250 that was given to me, that I would give someone just to prevent them buying that clone ****.

EXACTLY. How. I feel. ^

You simply cannot buy an OEM saw for the price of a Chicom kit, the reason being it is a lot cheaper to steal engineering and technology than it is to pay for it. Supporting this blatant theft of engineering by way of promoting their products, doing videos, making a parts list of what is junk on the clone kits is just as immoral to me as manufacturing the kits in the first place. You don't have to agree with my opinion, I really don't care, but if you saw a person steal a ladies purse, or steal something from your friends or relatives and need help hauling it away, are you going to help them out too? The manufacturing of these kits is blatant theft of engineering and technology, no amount of you typing or spewing your rhetoric about learning to build saws is going to change the fact that it is theft. By doing videos and peddling these kits, being a support system for the people that choose to build them is supporting theft.
