There pritty strong old girls 82cc and a nice wide power bigest stihl ive used is a 441 and yea was nice but still revvy and stally in comparison had to be kept on the pipe kinda. that was in a huge gum around 100 years old but it was green all the gum ive had has been greenish untle this basterd thing. Whats grey gum do we have that here Kiwibro?
Grey gum is every bit as hard & tough as ironbark, Sydney blue gum is one of the softest I cut, you'd have power poles around NZ that would be GG, they & other durable species used to be exported out of northern NSW direct to NZ .
With those hard timbers boring cuts can be difficult & you have to bend the bar to the side to stop the saw from kicking back out of the cut.

Ok that makes sense was cutting up sum old poles the other week it burns for hours n hours we use that stuff for railway sleepers and piles down the port n old bridges n stuff too. In my home town down the river the old piles from an early bridge often show up from under the shingle and they have been there since the 1870s and they aint rotting away very fast.

How big do these trees get? Must be gear drive territory nearly
This will ruffle some feathers

Hahaha was tryna reply to 460 haha i'll get the hang of it. . . Eventually any way cool vid tho ive been there building sheds and dam that place is fuked words cant really describe how bad.

But all you hear in the media here is how great it's going to be for the blacks blah blah blah but who's going to feed the khunts? And where's pippy his quiet maybe on holidays back to the Middle East to visit his bf

I've had mixed dealings with them some are total shiit chunts and others just outstanding people and so grateful to be in Australia

Yea ok how does the aus govt treat them? Ours is fukin ruff on them ae make them resit qualifications and met a hole bunch of criteria just to get in or must have a certain skill we see a heap on dairy farms just so they can get in. Meanwhile there letting in every other gookinese mongrel with no skills at all or yea yup im a welder yet chuck them ae rod n they dont know wich end go's in the hand peace hahaha.

well dam kiwi you will work your self 6 foot under.
A few more weeks then I'll spend another building up depleted brownie points at home and then I'm buggering off to where nobody can find me for a few days. Just get away from everything ad everyone. Not sure where yet but o the coast ad I'll take my fishing gear.

I dunno mate. I think I have struck yellow box that was so twisted crosscutting it was throwing 'noodles' or ripping dust, seldom any chips. No possible way to split that ***** whatever it was so pushed it into the burn pile. Another time the gum was red and the grain so dense you couldn't even see it. Just solid block of fibre reinforced resin that was as hard as concrete. Didn't matter what I tried, I could not get the corners on full chisel to not round over in the first few seconds of cutting it. Semi chisel and patience worked and it split quite easily for firewood too, but darn that was hard stuff.

I hated auckland, just like sydney, rag heads everywhere. Spent a bit of time up around dargaville as that's where the missus is from. Her uncle owns a dairy farm up there. Beautiful spot. Had a bit of a look around down south and like it there too.
Got quite a few mates in Dargaville. Either I or they will know your Missus' fandamily.

Many of the poles I hack down on farms up North are Jarrah. Got a reasonable collection on a mates farm that's slowly being taxed before I can find a use for it ;-)

Twenty years ago, most of the houses I worked on were for rich people in Auckland doing up old villas. It was interesting to note how many grand old Kauri villas in Auckland were actually kitset houses from Aus. We sent the wood over, it came back as kitsets. Even back then we were as dumb as a box of hammers not adding max value to our own primary product.

I was blown away when I was there how much pine kiwis export Forresty here is just about ****ed

Just finished up watching that vid holly sh!t thats from a commonwealth country where supposed to be all good mates we go n get shot at for each other and thats what ya get i suppose ours is simaler too but yea just gob smacked for a good man who works hard unreal just absolutly unreal.

Yea even out of wee timaru a sh1t ton go's out there be a truck every 5 min cumin in from heaps of logging firms just from timaz let alone the other ports. All off to china then we buy it back in poxy china goods haha a crap mdf coffee table for 200 bux at harvy morman. Its sad seeing all the old big shelter belts on farms getting sent away that old stuff is like petrol on the fire. It soots up the flue but its nice though.
Theres a heap of barren green deserts now with no trees no nothing but cows and centre pivots all for china meanwhile milk and cheese is horrendously expensive and cant swim in the rivers any more. Dont like being part of it but what do ya do. Forestry be cool i spose but id hate trees n saws then hahaha.

Any way bla bla was a nice day today sharpend my saws up and sealed up the leaky oil tank lids finally happy where the oilers are set these old things are funny with the pump in the tank. Got to rebuild the 10-10 then i'll have a 54cc a 70 and a 82 all 40 plus year old macs still keeping the wifes feet warm. Gota love well built old stuff:)

Need to get in to some old husky muscle not that yellow stuff actually pretty easy for kiwis to come here and vice versa but we only get the ****** bike gang kiwis and we can't seem to send them back a mate of mine does a lot of work for the detention centres here and the one in Melb mentioned in that video is full of kiwi criminals

Interesting bout the kitsets thats really pharkin dumb. I think its jarrah down here real red stuff. Dont really like full chisel chains they cut great for a bit then gone in gum any way and a heap of strokes to get it back mayby a grinder is the go. On a 20inch bar i can wip over it with a file faster than changing a chain though so iduno 5 years of hand filling and im only just getting the hang of it really so prob down to the clown on the file.

Have a good week in the big smoke man:)

I am hanging for some old huskys mate just waiting to come across 1 really. Not really into stihls ae just dont feel the love they make good saws and sh!t ones too same as any but yea an old 272 or something would be nice. Hows the old huskys for parts? Im keen for any nice old saws before they all sold out a nice pooolan a homie or two. Ive got a bloody old lombard im not sure what to do with it runs but way low on compression and dont really want to fork out 150ish for a jug n piston for it.

Haha yea we got your bikeies here too now haha yea crims go where crime pays i geuss its all pedaling meth now the fuks thats shocking **** that is. And sinthetic pot whats so dum is the sinthetic sh!t only started cos of 100 year old law's against marry Jayne wich has never even been a problem now theve created a masive issue with the sh!t. When was the last time your mailbox got kicked over or spewed in by a stoned chunt? Or your house burgled for a bag of nuggets? Just ******** go to hospital at night cos you cut open your hand in the shed fixin something or whatever and its a 5 hour wait cos of all the pissed maggots phukin themselves up.

Sorry for the rant I know you guys get it though. Seems like every ballsack has there head in facebook and ignores it all.

Give all the P heads and bikers and bomb chuckers a gun and a saw lock them up in the stadium n tell them to go nuts. Could even roll down to the tab n chuck a bet on hahaha.
