After a recent robbery, I've been down to only my 2009 MS260 pro. I've been itching to get a new saw.
So yesterday I was reclaiming a neglected field. While brush hogging I came upon 2 small (8-10") downed oak tops. Scooting up to my shop, I grabbed my 260 and promptly flooded it. Severely flooded it.
Swearing and cursing, I declared that no one should depend upon only an outdated 50cc saw.
Immediately went to the dealer and $750 later, a brand new MS362c-m.
I'm not a 60cc saw fan, and am an ardent believer in a two saw (50cc + 70cc) set-up.
But, I needed a good all around saw that can do almost all.
I had trepidations, as I've seen and heard many mixed reviews. From broken wires, to vibrations, to ghost lines, to bad bearings.
But, 2 tanks of fuel later... I'm impressed! It's an absolute beast for a (59) 60cc saw.
Made in Germany. Though it has unidentified sharpie markings on the cylinder. But it rips!!
The only negative is the pitiful dawgs. I plan on upgrading them ASAP.
Overall; it's an excellent saw, and definitely fits the one-saw niche.
