I have a Dolmar 309 that I am going to part out. When I put the parts for sale, what chainsaws should I list the parts as fitting? The recoil starter spring has a different part number than the chainsaws that look the same. I would need to replace the recoil spring in order to sale the recoil starter, so would a spring for a 123 or 133 work? And lastly, I removed the snap ring, but It seems there is a round disc acting as a cover for a nut that won’t come off. How do I get the clutch drum off so I can get to the clutch. Thanks

Matching saws are 123/133/133super/143/143mx. Also the 309 and 343 cut off saws.

As for the dust cap... I’d have to look at my 309 and 343 to see. I’m thinking it was a plastic flex cap that fits into a chamfered edge. IE: get a pic and a flat blade and work on the edge until you can get under it.
