I'm not sure if the serial number is a clue, nearest I can make it out 117374369. First two digits are very lightly stamped and the third digit appears to be a 7, the rest is quite legible. Doesn't help that its upside down.

Picked this saw up several years ago as part of a lot of three well used non working power heads and was just wondering what I have here?

Thank!

I have an 026, it doesn't look too much like it. I have an 034 complete and they do look similar but my complete 034 has front adjust bar and this unit has side adjust...perhaps an 036???

Good eye gentlemen, I didn't notice that muffler spacer until you mentioned it and i went back down and scraped some muck off it. Being that it's now identified as on 034 this is good news as there may be a future parts source for my other 034. These two saws must have been made at different times or in different countries because of the difference in bar adjustments, clutch sprockets etc. Anyway, thanks for all the help!

The muffler looks to be from an 036 although the cylinder and extension shows it being an 034 super.

Not sure if/how you can tell externally 034 vs 034S cylinders apart? I would measure bore with plastic straw method.
The super has a larger indentation(or whatever you'd like to call it) on the second fin down on the intake side.
The one above.

Standard 034. It's a bit hard to tell at the two different angles, but I'm pretty sure his is a super.
