GOTCHA, they are both smooth, both plenty smooth for any operator. I do think the 441 has a slight edge but thats because of that big fat behind,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Btw, why didn't we put the 372xp posts in the 372xp tread????? :monkey: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

I quoted a selection of them there........

Thats cool, putem where they belong Sawtroll. Its clouding up here alittle but I'm hoping it will hold off for abit so when I get home I can toss this new saw in some logs. With everything brand spanking new this saw, like all new saws, is ready to be runned and run it I will. What little bit I've ran here at work its a right nice mo-chine. Reminds me Sawtroll, my mission is complete, I'm a proud owner of a Humpback and a FatAzz, it doesn't get any better than that ole feller,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

I just blew coffee and Copenhagen all over the place:ices_rofl:

Even if I wasn't into saws, I would visit here just for the company.

Thankya Sugar. Thing is on here some take things entirely too serious. I razz the Husky guys, they razz the Stihl guys and I can do it all in good fun. I merely like saws. I make my living selling Stihl. I've had great luck with Stihl not only selling them but owning them. I've yet to personally have a Stihl break down on me. All that said I still have plenty of room in the ole "I'd like to have" department for other brands. The Dolmars and the Stihls get along just fine in the shed and this new orange critter I just got will too. I do like to read what others think is the best of each brand and go out and get me one. Thats how the 5100 and 7900 made their way to the shed. From all I've read the 372 is the all time Husky favorite so to the shed she goes to join what I call merely my hobby, owning the best of all lots..

Its been somekind of hot here in Va but the mator patch is looking good Sugar. Won't be long now before all these saws will play second fiddle to good garden viddles, hot dayumm can't wait..........................

My 372xpg is not a hump-back, it looks a bit sleeker - no need for the high filter+ cover in anything like "normal" condition..........:rockn: :rockn:

Reminded me of my buddy at my old job, but he wasn't talking about saws.

He said, "Even the different ones need lovin' too, and they're usually pretty greatful"

You "need" one of the "new editions" 50cc 346xps to accompany it, but as far as I know, that is in your plans.......:rockn: :rockn:

Hmm, speaking of which, I seem to recall we were promised an public opinion from you on the latter one. If I'm not mistaken one was to be sent to you for review. Have I just missed the report, or has it not been published yet? I was looking forward to read it, and was hoping for a video or so too...

So do I, even though we have much fewer saws - I guess I'll have to toss the cottage firewood etc into the open......:ices_rofl:

These posts really belong here

The problem isn't the place of assembly; it's the place of origin. As in the 137/142 is just a dressed up Poulan. The 240 will be assembled here in the US, but it will be a Swedish engine, not a Poulan one.

I haven't actually seen one yet, just a pic. So, I'll reserve judgment until I get my hands on one.

But isn't that exactly how it is today? They are assembeld by Poulan in the US, but with (most?) parts shipped from Sweden. That's also what Husqvarna answers upon direct questions. And we've seen photographic evidence on here that several parts says "Made in Sweden" in those saws, but with much worse tolerances in the assembly line.

I guess you're right on that one though, we'll just have to wait and see.

Are you referring to the 7900 I got last fall? If so I not only wrote about it but name it as well "Bad Bob". If ya missed it let me repeat the 7900 is one cutting mother. Its a tad bigger than the 460's,372's, 441's and the 440 and it shows it. I posted alot of vids on the 7900, where ya been. If your interested in a 7900 get one, you will like it, ALOT!!!!!
