THALL, how long did it take for that saw to get through those "cookies" in the background?

attachment.php

Dayuuuum, nice pics and a lot of big saws, Thall. Looks like you produced a lot of chips there.
Hoss didn't bring his SP 125 this time ??? :)

Nope Brother Belgian big Hoss didn't load up his big SP125. Ya know we got to talking and the next time we get a bunch of logs to play in were gonna bring out every gun (saw) we got and snap a pic. The pic will show just how nutty we are,LOLOL. I got around 25 plus saws, Hoss has around 40 plus and Scott has a couple. The pic should show some bigtime saw passion baby, you know what they say Belgian, the boys with the most toys wins,LOLOL
In our case it may well show us boys in Virginia aren't quite right but we love chainsaws if nothing else, haha

Great pics! It is bloody hot....gotta buncha poplar rounds on the ground..guy that gave 'em to me swore they were red oak....I'll get the buggers split heat or no....

Well you be carefull out in that heat. Playing around sawing wood in one thing, spliting it is another ball game. The heat takes no prisoners so be carefull outthere in that heat...

Yep...using the 30 ton Northstar...:) I try to bust a couple of rounds every day or two...fire it up and work til I get tired of it...heavy stuff tho'...

I'd prefer to bust it with a maul...I like splitting by hand...

I'm finally getting the 20 years worth of BS out of my little woodshed..(we just moved in)..the fun stuff is gonna be toting the split wood up to the woodshed and stacking it....

that's too bad. I am close to getting a CP125S myself, so your opinion would have been appreciated.:blob2:

Filling up that many saws with oil and fuel alone is gonna take you half a day. Cleaning them afterwards another half a day... That thought alone would kill my apetite for bringing so many saws, LOL. I will participate in an old tractor show on sunday with a big part of my vintage saw collection and will run some saws too, but nooooot all of them ;)

Pics will me shared after the show !:givebeer:

Naaaaaaaa that ole Hoss is a pretty good ole feller. He stops in the shop all the time and hell sometimes he takes over the work bench and says ya got anything needing repair. He has a passion for saws like I do. Thinking about giving him a key to the shop and taking me a vacation,LOL

I know, just stirring the pot, when you more or less asked for it........:yoyo: :yoyo:

Btw, I don't really care about minor diffs in cutting speeds either, just like to stir the pot (to the best of my knowledge) when people are asking questions.

...sure looks like you had a lot of fun :rockn: :rockn: - but what are you using that "cookies" for???

well, i say you NEED them. after my lil mishap yesterday WHILE WEARING them, i would advise EVERYONE to wear the EVERY time you cut!!!!

I know , I know. I've been trying to get one of the girls where I work to put on a set of chaps and take some pics but we're at odds over the blue jeans, I say she doesn't needem, she says she does, its a stale mate at the moment,LOLOL

She just needs some liquid encouragement !!:biggrinbounce2: :biggrinbounce2:

That SP125 your talking about is a whale of a saw. I ran that thing and its a beast. Oddly though of all the saws Hoss and me have that 090 of his is by far the beauty of the bunch. That thing has so much pulling power you can almost stand on it and it keeps right on bellering.

You better share them dayumm pics. Hate to have hop on the Lisa Marie and pay you a visit, ya hear me. That reminds a moment of silence on the 16th ya hear, the day the King and the Mighty Bambino both died, don't forget. My boss is making it mandatory 1 hour of silence at work,LOL That nut told me he's putting it in the company newsletter this month, that should be a hoot indeed,haha...

The blue jeans or the chaps??

you NEED the chaps, and a thick pair of jeands will at least cushion the bruising a lil bit if a chain whacks yer leg. I really mean it, if i wouldnt have had chaps on yesterday, i would have a LOT of stitches on my leg!! Just take my advice and where the chaps everytime

I know whatcha mean Sawtroll, all in good fun, no worry ole boy. Yes cut speed is fine and all that but to have a great time sawing it really isn't needed nor important. If they run good, have sharp chains and cut good I'm well satisfied...

You'll start wearing them as soon as you get smacked with a chain that comes off or you have a saw kickback and bite-cha . . . .
