I believe it may need a correctly sized spanner solution or removal tool if I'm not mistaken.

That thicker seal is working OK for you? I think I found it would drag on the thrust washer and had to use OEM.
What are y'all's thoughts on a 1073?
l had no issues at all with the thrust washer binding and installing the seal and torqueing down the Clutch nut on the Saw. No drag apparant or noticeable here..
About a light duty fire wood 50cc saw , Magnisiun case ,Plastic air filter covers are often found damaged or cracked. Many were made back in the day and targeted for the consumer
Isn't the 1073 the model without a chain tensioner? I know the 2073 used a spring but the IPL shows that it doesn't on the 1073.
You are correct Tim. The 2073 uses the 429581 Spring Tensioner and the 1073 is without a tensioner

Reply to old post about a little White Holiday Clutch removal.
Here is a Pic and part number for the Driver . It is Threaded on crank and not splined. You can remove the Clutch driver buy using a Hammer and punch , place the punch in one of the holes on the face of the driver and tap to remove. Driver thread is LH thread.
lt might be safer to remove the garder spring & shoes first .
l sent a pic of the clutch driver so you can see the threads.

Thanks guys. Not familiar with them. It's about 40 miles away but he only wants $30 for it and it looks nice. Case, manual whole bit.
Good deal for $30. I had a couple 1074s. Great little saw, super light and strong runners.

I picked up a Nice Pioneer 2400 Super, cleaned it up, put some oil in the cyl, checked plug and spark and it fires on a squirt. Fuel lines and a carb kit it will be a good saw.

Hey if it’s not to much of a pain in the ass could you take some measurements of your clutch cover. I bought a chain brake cover for my p41 (off of a p42) but it’s too big. If I line up the bar studs the muffler hits. I think it might be for a bigger like you p 50. Thanks JP

A guy near me listed these on FB a couple weeks ago. The RA went instantly. Been tempted by the other one since. Still listed today. Make offer. Last time I did that for a ratty Mac PM55 ad by another guy he wanted to fight me. LOL

So I don’t have a P42 but I do have a P41,P50 and P60.
The stud spacing for the P41 are 35mm on centre.
The stud spacing for the P50 and P60 are 40mm.
The P50/P60 covers are noticeably larger when held beside the P41.
