Hmmmm....
I think this is not the way this saw was designed to operate.

Kill the engine,engage the chain brake and just move the saw manually back and forth .It will cut noticeably faster .

Joking aside ,for few more $ you could have bought a homeowner grade Echo or Stihl chainsaw that actually cuts .

as you may or may not see, it does cut. I've cut 2 cords with it already
