I have seen your videos and think their great!
Was looking for the one of a tree being jumped cut off of a cliff and crashing down below.
Could you repost that video?

I also am very impressed with my 385. I love it's power. With my 24" GB buried in green or dry white/red oak it wants more and then some! It is still getting stronger everyday. And it's filtration is unbelievable. Not even a dusting after all day of running, (non stop logging 8hrs). My DP'd 066 has more grunt when buried though. But I just like running my 385 cause it's a little lighter than the 066, which makes me faster.:greenchainsaw: :chainsaw:

It's on youtube. I watch it every once in awhile when my puter' will load it. I also watched the vid of the 7'2" fir with the woods ported 660, good job on that one slinger'. How bout a vid on this one to see the improvement over before?:greenchainsaw: :chainsaw:

Thanks guys. Can't do much until I get the saws home - When the time comes and I get the saws home and the snow melts in the hills I'll make a mini-series.

The 390xp has less vibration than either the 385xp or the MS660. My 660 would have the arms tingling after a day of cutting. Don't have that issue with the 390, smoooooth. I believe Bookerdog will concur with this. Nonetheless, all 3 are nice saws.

That fits with the specs, pretty odd the difference between the 390 and the 385.....

How does the 385 compare to the 660 for vibration? The whitefinger is getting pretty bad...maybe a smoother saw would help.

The 385 and 390 are smoother than the 660. They don't have the uhmp that it (660) does out of the box, but they are smoother.

I did not notice any difference in running the 385 over the 390.

The specs indicate that the 390 is quite a bit smoother than the 385 - but they seldom tell the whole story.....:givebeer: :givebeer:

Thanks, guys. Looks like it's time to make a visit to the Husky shop. First it was white finger, then white hand, then white forearm, then white shoulder...you get the picture. This getting older stuff ain't for sissies. Don't tell Thall I'm looking at Husky, okay?
