024 Cylinder ID

I got this cylinder in a bunch of parts. Its a 024. Does the 'S' stamp on the top indicate this was a 024 super?

Yes that means it`s a 024 S cylinder.

I've seen a couple that said 024WB on the cover, but have the S stamped in. Then I've seen the cast in S on cylinders. I've never measured, and never kept one around long enough to measure stroke. So, any type of S on the top denotes a super? Has this been verified or just assumed?

I was wondering what's up with this one. I put it on a 024 with the piston and it hits the top. The 024s should have the same stroke as a 026, so this is a weird one.
