028 super help

My boss has a 028 super that is hard to start & floods easy, says he can get it started if he primes the fuel tank by blowing into it, once started he says it runs great. Easy fix? He wants a new ms290 & keep the 028 as a back up, I told him the 028 was a better saw than the ms290
