Hey guys great site! First Post!! I have a 034 AV with a 16" .325 bar and chain, my question is what do I need to convert it to a 18" or 20" with a 3/8" chain. What sprocket? and do I need any else? I mostly cut all hardwood. ThankYou! for the help..

its a simple fix so here goes. you'll need a new bar and chain, and change the clutch drum to a 3/8 pitch. or if you have a clutch drum that has a rim sprocket just need a a 3/8 sprocket for it. if your saw is in good shape you should be able to pull an 8 tooth on that short of a bar with either a skip or full comp chain. i recommend getting a new drum with the bigger bearing.
