038 air filter

Hi all,what is the best filter flocked or mesh?The AM filter I have at the moment closes choke under WOT.It has the spring at the bottom not at the flap as per OEM.
Looks like a OEM one here in Australia is about $75-too dear.
Looking for a good AM one that works (if there is such a thing?)

I've heard that also with the AM ones. And only reved to 8,000 rpms.
Wish I could ship you one from here and save you $. I can get one for about $30 with tax

Thanks fellas.Worked on mine today and fitted spring to somewhat resembled OEM.See how it goes tomorrow.
