046 Full Wrap

Will a Stihl 046 full wrap handle fit any other models?

Nope... Just the 046 and 460.

But.... depends on what you mean by "fits" - it sticks out further on the recoil side, but yes.. you can make it work on an 044 and 440.

I have swapped them quite a bit, I guess I have never noticed Andy's statement. But then again, he see's about 75 to my 1.

lolol I don't see as well as I did.

The difference isn't all that great, but it's one of the reasons they they call out different part numbers in the IPLs

someone told me that they bolt up to the 066's too. Is this true?

it will fit several

it will fit other just takes some drilling of a new hole. i had a 260 pro werin one. i put a 460 660 3/4 wrap on a jd cs81. let just say it took a extension to make the right side bolt up.

no.. the vertical arm that bolts to the tank on the 066 is seveal inches longer

Then I'd loose the intake efficiency...


The 046 intake is way better then the 044/440 - mainly the scoup. If I was to find a tank... do you have the filter back etc?
