anybody running an 046 with an 8 pin sprocket and 20 inch bar with a rs chain
if so any problem with lack of power?

I'm running a 46, with 8 pin sprocket, 3/8 (oregon 72, no skip) on a 24inch bar, with no lack of power.

I run an 044 with the dual port muffler cover with an 18" 3/8 RS chain and an 8 tooth sprocket and it flys, works really well.....

I got a 044 with a 20" bar, 8 pin sprocket muffler mod and retune. It is hard to beat for a limbing saw and processing the whole top. Its not bad at all for bucking logs, and its my second saw I pull up when the 200T doesnt get it done.

I couldnt immagine that the 046 would be a slouch. Open the muffler and I would call it a raped ape.
