Saw a one big and several small chunks of spruce. Need to run them through the splitter. that will finish the uglies. Already have a good start on next year's collection. Harry K

Click to expand... My ugly pile grows as I split the rounds, there are always a few with knots, lousy shape splits, etc.

Good for quick warmups and to get the stove woke up in the mornings.
