Chances are that you will not have a problem with either saw, but if you do, having good dealer support is vital. Interview all dealers and decide on how you feel about them. Maybe, but it's a saw not an oil painting. Proof is in the useSee if one of the Dealers will let you take one brand over to the other brand's store to compare side by side. You may be surprised what you think.

Ran 4 tanks of gas through the 441 today cutting oak. It works good for me. It’s a very nice saw.
