Hey guys. I have a 254xp for sale. I thought I'd offer it up to my fellow chainsaw aficionados first. I know it's not pretty but it runs great. I have about 10 tanks through it since I rebuilt it.

I acquired this locally. It was a beat up, ugly saw. It had good compression and fired up on mix so I thought I'd use it as a learning experience. I split the case and replaced the following with all new Husky parts...
-Crank seals and bearings
-piston pin and bearing
-piston ring
-base gasket
-clutch bearing
-gas tank/handle
-stickers
Carb was rebuilt with a Walbro kit.
Replaced melted clutch cover/brake flag with used.
Blocked muffler side exit and fabricated front exit muffler(loud!).
16" Sugihara 3/8" .050" bar
Runs, brakes and oils as it should.
Oil cap leaks a little and it leaks a little from under the clutch cover when it sits for extended periods.
It's a fun saw but I need to thin the herd and there are no close local Husky dealers so I'm selling this one.
$300 Pay Pal goods and services plus shipping continental US only.20220505_213629.jpg20220505_213642.jpg20220505_213700.jpg20220505_213725.jpg20220505_214612.jpg20220505_214605.jpg20220505_213842.jpg20220505_213651.jpg
Thanks for looking,
Lee
