So I recently bought this saw from a guy who was cleaning out dad's garage. First off this was in Queens, NY (no trees to cut). Started first pull, brought it home and to my shock the piston looks brand new. Saw was real dirty from years of dust and grime on it and put away dirty after its probably one time use. I was pleased to discover it has the K&S cylinder and HDA 87. P&C still have machine marks. I rebuilt the carb, new partition wall, tank vent, and chip deflector, cleaned and sprayed the muffler and cleaned it as best as I could. Plastic have staining on them from dirt, not terribly but it's visible. Saws starts, runs, idles and oils as should. Don't want to over price this so I'm taking offers I guess and buyer pays the ride from 11725. Those is for Power Head only. PayPal friends.

I took saw completely apart and cleaned and replaced anything I came across. The pictures of the cylinder are before I cleaned it.

I also have another one with a Mahle jug and had to drop a Meteor in, 144a carb. Probably selling that also. I have to clear out and get control of my CAD lol. And I'm not bad compared to some guys who have TONS of saws.

Maybe I haven't been around long enough to understand, but what is this, clear out and get control of my CAD thing you speak of :popcorn2:.

That saw looks familiar, ill check mine to see if it has the same carb.. Maybe I should pull the 262 out of the unlocked shed and put it in my locked garage :dizzy:.. Nice looking saw!
Don't worry neighbor I already have a few 2 series saws, and Custer can't even afford the gas to sneak down here lol.

I put the "offers" because this is my first sale (on this sight). Plus I didn't want to ask too much and not get any action on it. I'm really not looking to make a million dollars, really just trying to recoup what I invested into it. I think someone else would enjoy this saw more then me anyhow. Question: When receiving money on the paypal friends and family thing, is there a way a person can retract the money after it goes in? Don't want to ship a saw and see the money go out also.lol

Ok, I'll raise my offer to 202 and I'll pay for shipping, I don't want you to be out your cash for the holidays :).
And I promise before everyone on the Internet not to retract the electronic cash sent via PayPal.
I just need the email attached to your PayPal and I'll send some electronic cash your way :D.
I can understand what you are saying for sure. One of the problems you run into with it is you will get the guys who don't care about dropping a low price and they will. Then there are plenty of "nice" guys who would pay a fair price and won't make an offer at all because they assume you want the world for it since you didn't put a price. That's why in my PM I asked what you needed for it shipped to me. I figure most will be open with the price they need and then I will know if I'm interested or not. I may make an offer if I feel it's to high, but most times I say it's more than I'm willing to pay and move on. I don't normally counter offer because I'm just not into all that as I don't want to offend anyone, or to get ignored because it was to low of an offer.
Putting a price even if it's high eliminates wasted time on both sides.
I still haven't heard back either.
