288xp Husqvarna Ignition Coils

Iv'e noticed on the 281-288 Husqvarna saws you sometimes see all black, or all blue and sometimes a mix of the two, primary and secondary coils on these saws. Can someone tell me if there is a difference in the different colors and if there is, which one would be better. thanks Rick

I believe the blue one's are limited, and the black ones are not.
I'm looking for a set of black ones for a race ported 288.
The blue one's are fine for work saw's.

Thank you very much Red. I had herd something about limited coils on these saws but was'nt sure. You cleared up what I was wandering. I will stick with the black ones. Rick!

I don't know (I'll have to look into it), but I'll bet they are if it's the 2 piece ignition.

The one I have somewhere is the two-piece black set with the yellow grounding wire.
