One of my friends had about 60' of 057 , 3/8 semi-chisel (Oregon 73) . He gave up trying to use it, so he gave it to me as a swap for repairs. Well, lo and behold, I found a use for it. Whenever a used 050 bar comes in, I check how wide the groove is, and about half of them will accept the 057 without a hitch when I get though cleaning out the groove with a solvent.

I've got 3/8 .063 on every saw I've got. Stihl 026-084 and everything in between.

421 is .325 .050 and the 5105 is 3/8 .058:( up until i put the Total bar on the 5105 all i had was 3/8 .050 and .325 .050.

It's a dilemma I'm going through to. My drum and rims just came in to switch to Picco on my 024s. I'd love to run it on my 036, 440 and 441 but I don't think that's feasible. I think a 2 chain plan is inevitable for some of us.

And if you add in semi-chisel vs. full chisel, you are up to three or four. There's no end to it. I do think that the 024 and 026 get along rather well with 325 full chisel, but once you make that commitment, stick with it. I recently sold an 025 with Picco and that saw cut beautifully. I should never have sold it.
