@lostone thanks man for taking the time to do this video! It explains a lot in great detail. I’m sure this video will help lots of folks out in the future, too. I ended up working 13 hours today and was too tired to run out to the shop and work on the saw so I’ll have to tackle it tomorrow. But your video identified what I think is the problem now. Much appreciated!!

Your video definitely resolved my issue. The cable had slipped out of it's holder inside the the trigger. It's fixed now. Thanks bud!

Well it isn't much better than the top of a storage container that I was using in the vid but I did make a small work bench in the house in a room we use for storage. Hopefully it gets me off the naughty list. . I did manage to get my hot wire rope cutter made and it works great, it's nice to burn/cut them on a slant so the rope starts easier into a hole.
