I really hope I didnt make any enemies. Maybe Im just cranky today too. I stated my opinions, apparantly not everyone agreed, lol. Thats life. I think we are splitting hairs on the argument of the 441 and 372. People have good and bad to say about both. Huskydave is right, I havent used a 372 enough to really compare them realistically. To the original poster: The ultimate choice is up to you. Both are good saws. I have to agree that Stihl saws tend to be pricier than Husqvarna or Dolmar. Probably the main reason I buy Stihl saws is because the first saw I bought that treated me good was a Stihl 026, so I stayed loyal to the brand. to all, no offense meant. Its amazing what cutting a truckload of wood can do for my mood!

Don't worry bowtie, your fine with me!:greenchainsaw: :greenchainsaw:   :givebeer:

In order of preference, your choices in a 70cc saw are as follows:

  1. Jonsered 2171
  2. Jonsered 2171 with heated handles
  3. Husky 372
  4. Stihl 440
  5. Two 35cc Stihls yoked together
  6. A misery whip
  7. A Stihl 441 that's been straight gassed, run over, and put through a chipper
  8. A working Stihl 441
