My one suggestion would be ask a lot of questions. Either in the "For Sale" thread or in a private conversation. Ask for detailed pics. I'm quite certain that a few more PMs between buyer and seller could've prevented this whole situation.

I have honestly had zero problems buying or selling on AS. Communication is the key to a smooth transaction.

Agreed. But never hurts that AS is actually made up of a pretty good group of guys who are willing to help when you need it.

If it's just cracked, it most likely can be fixed. If chunks are missing, then yes, you need a new tank. I would be glad to give it a shot at fixing it- no charge. I'm not that far from you. Shipping would be $10 or so.
