If you do need a 10mm case, I'm sure I'll have something. I have a pile of parts saws especially 10mm
Thanks for reply. I bought one from jockeydeuce, he is shipping today. I drilled out 3 -3mm holes this morning and tapped them on the old case halve.

1649767833479.png whenever stihl switched over to 5mm they had ferrules that would go in the newer 5mm housings to accomodate the 4mm screw and being a plumber I just thought about this that I can get some 4mm bolts and use these ferrules to take up the space. Thoughts?

Sounds like a plan!.....Do those ferrules have a part number?

Up to the end of 1996, the new version of the fan housing comes together with 4 hollow rivets 5,5*0,5*6,8 (9416 868 6530). These rivets are needed to mount this newer fan housing on a older crankcase version with M4 holes.
