Looking at rebuilding a 562xp and thinking about leaving the crank stuffers out. Wondering if I need any spacers to replace stuffers or not.
Transfer covers are different on the 562/560 as well.562/560xp without stuffers will become 555....non xp
Just looking for longevity from it. Thinking that the stuffers are nice but take away from the nylon caged bearings getting lubed as good as they should so they don’t fail..
Why would I mix fuel different… all saws I have are recommended for 50:1 mix and 2 of the saws are late 70’s early 80’s era saws and never had a bearing failure
Every place I searched for bearings and part numbers all led me back to nylon caged bearingsThe husky 5 series saws have some bearing issues. The nylon cages break. I’ll have to look up the service bulletin again but they have a new part number for crank bearings.
They’re all nylon cage. I think they may have had a bad run of bearings. I’ve been meaning to talk to someone at Husqvarna about it, not sure I’ll get a straight answer but it’s worth a shot.Every place I searched for bearings and part numbers all led me back to nylon caged bearings
I think you answered your own question. You want to remove the stuffers to get more oil to the bearings, but you don't want to just add more oil instead ?Why would I mix fuel different… all saws I have are recommended for 50:1 mix and 2 of the saws are late 70’s early 80’s era saws and never had a bearing failure
