I currently have the 562xp and previously had the early version of the 441. To be honest I really like the Stihl products from my 441 experience. The power, the mount of the chain, the on off switch is a much better design. Just roll with the thumb.
With the above said we need to take an honest look at cost:
562xp - $600
576xp - $760
390xp - $880
MS461 - $1,050
MS441 - $ 909
Apples to apples you are looking at a $300 premium for a Stihl saw over Husqvarna. $250 of this can be spent on a port job.
I really like the sound and feel of Stihl. Some of you may laugh because you have ran all of the saws mentioned. Is the $300 premium worth owning a Stihl?
Lastly: Some of you like the 390Xp. It appears to take around 5 pulls to get it started. Is this saw that popular? I hate pulling more than twice to start a saw.
Your thoughts???
