Alright all you beautiful saw geeks, I have come across something that I, and anyone I have asked, knows nothing about.

The "Husqvarna World Champion" Air filter cover. Says Great experience underneath. Little small and blue badge, front and center of a low- top cover. Not a sticker, shea on there.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach a photo from my phone so I apologize but this website operates in 1999 code.

But there it is. Has anyone seen this before? And does anyone know why these were added to some saws?

Looks like a patch to me.... this it?

Yeah, but with " world champion" in a semi circle above the logo. Not a patch, but a heat pressed or something kind of decal on the saw. Not like their other stickers either, its raised.

Does it look like a 262XP cover?
Didnt one of them win the "World Logging Championship" back in 94?
Might be like the World Series of Baseball- the whole World might not have been invited and they probably used European matchwood trees- but the 262XP won out in the end.
