These are some pictures from SE Indiana and SW Ohio Large Honey Locust that came down last fall after Hurricane Ike with the 70 plus MPH winds! and some pictures of my wood shed.

The locust was in an area where my inlaws do select cuts. Last time it was cut was about 20 years ago. it is probably an old pasture tree, about 90 years old near an abandoned/house now just a chimney and foundation.
 
Next year I plan to stack in the other direction and two bys on edge is a good idea. I was thinking about doubling them up for more strength.

nice wood shed! ,almost looks as though the pooch is photogenic ,it seems to pose for the shots lol both of them
