The hotel I work for wanted some custom shelves made for the buffet line. They're made to stack on each other so they can break it down daily. I don't mill too often so I still do it freehand. Then I just kind of pieced it together. It's all made of kiawe with the darker being the older, more weathered wood.

just georgous work ,wish i had that type of wood to work with

Thanks. This wood is mesquite in the mainland. I'm sure there's some differences because of the climate. It's quite ugly before you start working with it. Plus, because it's extremely hard, not too many people like to work with it out here.
