Last week we had a very windy day.
A couple days later my neighbor stopped in with a keg And $300 and asked if i could clear up a bunch of fallen trees for him.
It took most of the keg each night to recover for the next morning to complete the clear up on this endless job. LOL

Picture taken at about 1/2 way done.pile 6'x12'x20' at picture.
Sugar maple and norway maple.

Are you going to let this wood season and burn it in a wood stove or burn it in a outdoor fire pit ?

Steve NW WI,

Thanks, glad it's done though it seemed to go on and on.

Nice to get paid with beer.
It should be how all things are traded for work :)

ShaneLogs,

It will all end up in 1/2 cord skid sets for sale for woodstove wood.
like this <img src=http://www.arboristsite.com/attachments/firewood-heating-wood-burning-equipment/234932d1335047699-skid3-jpg> but only 1/2 not a full cord.

Things i set aside for my personal use are fruit woods, white oak, black locust, sugar maple and most of all rock elm.
I have about 8 years worth of cured real good wood for myself so not much point in keeping it beyond that length.

I've been known to move a sugar maple personal pile to sales and create a rock elm personal pile though :)
