Advice for Injured Maple

Hello - Inam new to this site and am desperate for some advice for my Red Maple tree. It has a crack and asap is seeping out and I do not want to lose the tree and we are in a rural community in Central NY State and have no arborists…. I have enclosed photos of the area if concern and would greatly appreciate any advice on how to heal my tree. Thank you in advance.
