I cant top a story like that but whats unusual is the apparent meagerness of the couple. We run into weirdos and unusually demanding people in our business all the time, their common denominator is their wealthy, affluent, and think there above the rest of the common folk, and their not afraid to tell you about it! seriously doubt it.They were poor, very poor, but looked pretty respectful.I have run into plenty of meth heads around here,but these folks just didnt look it.
Ill say one thing, that woman knew her wood. She could identify every tree around their place, and spotted the cherry scraps in the bed of my truck in a heartbeat and wanted to know if I had any more.Doubt a meth head would have been thinking that clear.

Well, one time my wife and I were needing some wood, and we called a guy who not only shorted us a few armloads, he also threw in some softwood - looked like hemlock. (He did pay us back $10 to make up for the insult). Well, when I called him again later for a load, he delayed and delayed and never got around to delivering. We started to get really cold in the house, but he never came, and finally we froze to death in front of our cold fireplace- waiting for the woodman who never came.......
