Any insight on an old Stihl S-10?

I recently bought what I'm pretty sure is a S-10 chainsaw for $100 at a charity silent auction. It's in pretty good condition and runs fine. I was told that it had recently been rebuilt by a Stihl certified Tech.

Does anyone know much about this saw? Is it a collectors item? Is it dangerous to run being as its 47 years old? Is $100 cheap or did I pay too much?

If your saw looks anywhere near as good as that one, I'd say $100 was a very good price. Check out ebay for recent sales - nice ones have gone for around $300.
