Just thinking because it's getting cold this weekend down here in FL.

Citrus tree wood is one of the cleanest burning woods around. Great for bar-b-q, and people with smoke allergies. Readily available. Most people would love for you to come and take down their blighted and dead trees. Burns down to tiny pile of white ash. Not like oak with never seems to burn all the way and leaves you with a bunch of coal to scoop. You could literally vacuum the ash out of the fireplace it's so fine.

i've never even seen a citrus tree. if it's anything like an apple tree, it would be a whole lotta work to get a cord of wood.

you don't know what an orange tree looks like and I've never seen an apple tree

not really that bad. last cold snap my husband and I went out the the grove at our plant here and chainsawed off 1 big branch and cut it up. Didn't take us but a few minutes, and it was light enough that I could lift it to put into the truck.
