Anyone else turn the file during the stroke?

I don't worry about turning the file but after each tooth I do tap the end of the file on the saw vice. I wear 3x glasses while filing usually and can see the fines flying.

Tap it more than 3x and you're playing with it.

Well, I went out and worked on the suspect chain...I really didn't see a real problem. I filed both sides, evened up the rakers even though they were pretty good. It now cuts pretty straight, only a very slight bias to the right. But I've had issues with this particular chain before, I seems when anything goes off...it goes to the right. I'm starting to think it is a combination of things, worn bar, worn chain, a few more cutters filed back on one side than the other, etc.
