i am lol! bunch of funny post. your pic is kinda hard to tell what it is . i made one smaller to put in a 2 gallon bucket to separate my lead sinkers 1 time 2 oz 3 oz 4 oz 5 oz kinda had 4 compartment bucket am i right?

The Thing is a 6 way wedge...they call it a knife...for a Dyna firewood processor. The two-way wedge is permanently welded onto the chute and the 4, or 6 way wedge is bolted onto it for your preference.

Here is a video I found with the 4 way wedge installed. You can jump to 1:09 to see it in action. You are supposed to remove it and insert the 6 way. It is held on by a bolt. Seems hokey but we shall see. Whatever I had in my brain as what it would look like came in nothing close to real life. I would have never guessed a 6 way to look so small and odd.
