I have a 1994 Bandit 200+ with a Cummins 4BT3.9 and I think I need new engine isolators / mounts but I'm not sure. The engine 'hops' a bit under heavy load and there is a gap between the isolators and the engine frame. Am I correct in thinking I need to replace these. Sorry if this is a dumb question...

You might be able to tighten them. If you need new one, call Cummins with your engine serial number and they can provide them to you.

Hope this helps!

I think these have a steel core, so I don't think they can be tightened further. In any case I couldn't budge them to get them off with 450 ftlbs so I'm not going to be able to tighten them either. I guess my question is still if these need fixing or if it's not that big of a deal having a gap like that. They do look worn out...

Thanks,
Eric
