Regarding cutting spruce on a bandsaw mill, I have heard it cuts a whole lot easier, way less waves, if its cut frozen. Is this so and what are your thoughts on cutting frozen conifer logs in general. Thanks/Jim
 
Thawed or frozen I would think it cuts the same, the only problem is when it is part frozen, as the band cuts through the areas of different densities (frozen and thaw) that is what causes the waves.
