Working on a load of 12" long stuff, that is a pain, I'd say no to 8"!

The old woman inherited an old Caboose heater, looks just like a miniature cast iron Pot Belly. Can't be more than three feet high. I feed it coal but be darned if I'm cutting wood to fit it. Get her cookin on coal and it starts sounding like its gonna suck itself through the ceiling and does put out reasonable heat.

I did a load last year of 10" long stuff... 6 cords of it. Took FOR-EVER! I'm pretty sure the next time I will say no or ask for more $$ at the very least! Even 12" is slow going over 16".
Cutting my owb wood at 24", 36" and limbs at 48", the wood piles up fast.
