GOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON, I WAS HOPING I COULD GET A BIT OF INFO? MY TREE HAS
PEALING BARK AND LIMBS DROPING OFF . IT IS MATURE AND HAS GREEN LEAFS THIS
SUMMER BUT HAS BEEN PEALING THE LAST TWO YEARS. IF I SAW A PICTURE OFF THE
LEAFS I COULD SAY WHAT TYPE OF TREE IT WAS. A DISCRIPTION WOULD BE LEAFS
WITH FIVE POINTS LIKE YOUR HAND AND IT HAS BALLS LIKE CHERRIES HANGING OFF
IT. HOPING I CAN SAVE IT. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP.

Since we don't know what part of the country your in I'll guess it's a Sycamore or a Planetree, which normally have peeling bark with different shades of gray-green and brown-white underneath.
Are the balls fuzzy?

And anthacnose will make a sycamore loose twigs and branches.
