Hi there all,
At the moment im doing up/rebuilding a 372XP with all my spare parts ive got lying around. But the trouble/question is ive got, is whats the best carb for a 372XP? Is it the Walbro or the Zama??
Thanks.

Walbro HD 12-1a is probably one of the most reliable carbs out. I wouldn't have a Zama shoved up my a $$ if it had a million dollar check with it.

Before I get accused of being Brush Ape? I'll give you some better details as to why I feel that way. Zama carbs are very poor design. Only in a couple of situations is Zama the better performing carb. This is due to venturi size and shape. But I've yet to see a Zama out last it's equivalent in Walbro or Tillotson.

They had both the 12a and 6 available. Most that I've seen have had the 12a which is the epa variant. They both share the same carb body.

You are right the 6 were on the early 371 I think I have had both but I prefer the hda6
